Let me tell you in advance that the picking and dropping facility is available only for the hotels at European side, city center, and cruise pier meeting point.
Our tour guide will assist you to know and understand all the places you will visit during the two continent tour. We will take you to the famous Spice Bazaar, of course, it is less famous than the grand bazaar but is worth visiting; which has more than 85 shops which sell, Turkish delight, sweets, jeweler, dried fruits & nuts. It is opened on all working days as well as on Sundays. On working days, they last up to 7 in the night and on Sundays it reduces to 6 in the evenings. It remains closed on public holidays and days of religious specialties.
After the bazaar we will now enjoy the Bosphorus strait harbor, you will enjoy sailing between the Asian and European continents up to the second bridge. Turkey is known for the reign of Ottoman emperors and Istanbul has so many palaces than that you would expect, one varies from other in too many different ways too. Each one was built by separate emperors and it’s because Ottomans had a culture of making their own palaces once they got into power and them least used the buildings which their ancestors built.
The bridges, palaces, the towers, and villas are the main attraction of Bosphorus Cruise ride and you will be seeing its beauty from a little distance as it will tempt to go inside and explore more. We will now ride back to the dock & explore things in real, touch them and see them near on the land. We will drive you to the top of the Camlica Hill. Camlica Hill is located in the Asian part of Istanbul, 268 m above the sea level. The hill is known for its tea houses and restaurants. Most of the visitors enjoy the revolving restaurant that is at a height of 202.5m above the sea level. It also has the largest mosque which can accommodate 37500 people at a time and has a museum, art gallery, library and so on.
Byzantine City Walls are the next place we are going to take you to. Byzantine City Walls also knew as walls of Constantinople with a height of 12m and was built in the 5th century with limestone and brick, in order to protect the empire from the attacks from land and sea that is from Arabs, Avars, buglers etc. Initially, the wall was built by the Constantine the great. Later a double lined wall namely Theodosian walls were built and additions are so many. But now the walls are just the remains of a huge history of wars and safeguard. They are partially ruined and torn. Sea walls now remain only in old pictures, other than that few bricks remain for name sake. But now is a world heritage designated in 1985 as a part of historic areas of Istanbul.
With this, we will end our tour between two continents and we will take you back to the hotel you are staying.
