Day 1 – Ephesus Tour
Your tour will be begun with an early morning flight to Izmir from Istanbul. After your arrival to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, we will take you to our office. You will meet with the other tour participants along with tour guide. After meeting with the local tour guide and other tour participants, we will drive towards Ephesus Ancient City, where you will take the advantage of visiting the magnificent Temple of Hadrian, the amazing Celsus Library, and the famous fountain of Ancient times of Ephesus, the Trajan.
Having a walk on the antique marble street, you will able to see the Great Theater where St. Paul addressed. Then we will move to the beautiful Isa Bey Mosque. After visiting this amazing historical mosque, we will take a break for having a wonderful, an unforgettable lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit the carpet cooperative houses. There you will see how the beautiful Turkish carpets are made by hand. Our next stop will be the shrine of Mother Mary. There is a myth goes among the locals, it is the place where she spent recent years of her life. Ephesus Archaeological Museum enables you to see the ruins of Ephesus excavations and Temple of Artemis (Diana). It has been considered that Temple of Artemis is one of the seven wonders of ancient World that. At the end of the day one tour, you will be sent back to your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi in accordance with your choice.
Day 2 – Pergamon Tour
The second day, the tour will be started around 8.30 am in the morning. After having breakfast, you will be picked up at 8.30 am from your hotel for Pergamon. After visiting Pergamon, we will see one of the most important places in our tour, the Acropolis, which is famous for its library which is well-known with its hugeness, which makes it one of the biggest cultural center of Hellenistic Time. There are many valuable architectural buildings such as schools, and amazing governmental buildings, which reflects the greatness of the government. Additionally, it has many world-famous memorials such as Zeus Statue. In addition to this, Acropolis had a significant importance in Roman history, especially during the peach of Christianity. After visiting the Acropolis, you will go to the Ascelepion. Ascelepion was an important medical center. Because the ancient people came and received medical treatments such as massages, mud baths, Diagnosis etc. the use of herbs and ointments, drinking of the sacred waters were some medical practices. After the end of the day tour, you will be taken back to your hotel and spend the night in the hotel.
Day 3 – Pamukkale Tour
We will start our day 3 excursion by picking you up from your hotel in Selcuk or Kusadasi. Then we will ride towards Pamukkale. There we will able to visit Pamukkale which is one of the fascinating places in the world. Pamukkale is merely famous not only for the mesmerizing beauty of its inimitable geological creations but also for its historical remnants. You will visit an ancient historical cemetery.The Necropolis (cemetery) of Hierapolis is one of the largest ancient cemeteries in Anatolia with 1.200 graves, Byzantian Gate, Roman Bath, Domitian Gate and Calcium Terraces.
** You can take a chance to swim in ancient spring pool of Pamukkale. An extra charge will be added. You are requested to bring your own swimming suits with you.
The Pamukkale Tour will be ended up at 16:30 pm. You will be transferred to the airport and fly back to Istanbul. Arrival will be the end of the 3 days Ephesus Pergamon & Pamukkale tours.
