Beach Cemetery
Beach Cemetery is the first landing place of ANZAC’s. It was used as the cemetery of allied troops from the landing day to the day of the evacuation of Anzac soldiers. In this cemetery, there are 391 soldiers of allied troops that died in the First World War in Gallipoli. Most of the graves are belongs to Australian Imperial Force. One of this soldier is John Simpson Kirkpatrick, who is a famous soldier of Gallipoli War. Beach Cemetery includes also 21 troops from New Zealand army, and 49 from the United Kingdom and there are also 21 graves whose occupants are not known.
Anzac Cove
Anzak Koyu (in Turkish) is a little cove on the Gallipoli, Canakkale. It is the first place that ANZAC soldiers landed on 25 April 1915. So it has a significant importance for allied countries that participated in Gallipoli War.
